SPEAKEASY: art in an age of prohibition

Curated by Bruce Davies and Derek Horton the exhibition will ostensibly look at themes surrounding freedom and prohibition but can address any situation or period of history (or maybe even future!) and arts relevance to the subject

• Any medium will be considered but if A/V then you must have your own equipment to present the work on
• If the work already exists please send an image and give an idea of scale
• If you intend to make new work please give a description that includes an idea of scale
• Artists must be able to deliver their own work within 2 weeks of the exhibition but no later than 4 days before
• Artists must be able to take their work away within 2 weeks of the exhibition closing

Selections will be made by Bruce Davies and Derek Horton and all artists notified of their inclusion or otherwise by 20^th August 2011

 All works must be delivered to the venue by 13^th Sept
